Charrisse Jackson-Jordan

  

Charrisse Jackson Jordan is a dedicated mother, philanthropic socialite, and rising  television personality.



Born the youngest of eight in Somerset, New Jersey, Charrisse Jackson got her start  as a passionate student, participating in cheerleading and track and field at a very early age,  and eventually joining the Future Business Leaders of America before she headed to  Morgan State University. Upon earning a degree in communications, Charrisse returned to New Jersey and began teaching elementary and high school when she  met her former husband-Retired NBA guard Eddie Jordan, and the two relocated to
Sacramento, California.
 

In 1997, the couple wed in a lavish ceremony in New Jersey, and soon  Charrisse gave birth to their son Jackson, followed by daughter Skylar in 2000. By  2005, the Jordan family returned east to Potomac, Maryland where Eddie began a  career as Head Coach of the Washington Wizards, while Charrisse played the role of  doting wife and mother, parlaying professional, political and parental appearances  into philanthropic endeavors, unwittingly positioning herself as one of the capital’s leading socialites.
 

As Charrisse focused on raising her children and creating a home, she heightened  her own local visibility by generously donating her free time and philanthropic endeavors to  charitable and social causes. During her tenure as President of Behind the Bench –  National Basketball Wives Association, Charrisse played an integral role in raising  millions of dollars for charity and nonprofit organizations including, Knock Out  Abuse Against Women, Men Against Breast Cancer, and N Street Village,Susan G. Komen for the Cure just to  name a few.
 

Known for hosting extravagant parties and benevolent events, Charrisse garnered a  respected reputation connecting many of the who’s who of Washington, DC, so it  was no surprise when the producers of Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise selected  Charrisse to assist in lining up a cast for a new show.
 

  

In 2016, Charrisse made her television debut as star of The Real Housewives of  Potomac, and remains the glue that holds the group together. With her distinct  strength and perseverance, along with undeniable style and charm, Charrisse is  winning over legions of fans across the globe, showcasing her life of personal ups  and downs, hoping to inspire and empower women worldwide.
